art is for lovers...

Lately when I walk into my local newsstand there is a decision waiting to be made.  It would seem that recently the done-thing is to present the reader (yes,  that's me!) with multiple choices  concerning the covers of their favorite magazines.  Is this a ploy to buy more than one copy?  Well,  if it is, it's worked - I have!  It's just not something I like to admit.

Whats worse,  is that in the past I've been unaware the choice even existed until I've spied the same issue - different cover, scratched my head & then thought - damn I like that one better!  I mean I really like that one better.  Oh the pain,  hardly a pressing world issue but when you're busy collecting magazines it's annoying to say the least. 

Luckily in this instance of my latest magazine purchase the decision was simple.   Devon Aoki (little sister to the not-so ironically named Kid Millionaire aka House/Electro DJ Steve Aoki) vs. Ashley Smith - no competition.   I was happy to leave with Devon neatly tucked under my arm - I mean,  she was asking for it.
